What is a resolver for<\/h2>\r\n

\r\n\r\nA resolver<\/strong> resp angle encoder<\/strong> is used in all applications where the angle respectively the angular position of a mechanical part must be determined. The measuring signal of the sensor<\/a> is used as information in a corresponding device. Depending on the application, the signal is needed to ensure a monitoring function or as an information signal to control a control system. Admotec solutions are economical inductive sensors<\/strong> resp signal transmitters and ideal for doing such tasks.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nOur rotasyn is used in a wide variety of industries and applications. The chemical, energy, engineering, aerospace, automotive and marine industries<\/a> are examples, but only a part of the markets where angle encoders are used.<\/p>\r\n

Cost-effective and reliable angle encoders \u2014 it’s possible<\/h2>\r\n

\r\n\r\nAlthough not new in principle, the rotary electrical transformer as an angle measurement solution assert themselves as a cost-effective and extremely robust solution. Especially in applications where reliability and longevity is required, the Admotec solution is is preferred. Add to this the fact that hardly a comparable sensor is able to perform its services under such difficult conditions. A good example is oil production on the high seas. A brushless rotasyn is virtually free of wear. Other concepts, such as optoelectronic systems, are always expected to pollute and, in some cases, become contaminated and therefore at times fail.<\/p>\r\n


<\/p>\r\n

Robustness of our devices<\/h2>\r\n

\r\n\r\nThe robustness of our solution makes the devices resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations. They can be used between -196 \u00b0 C to approx. + 220 \u00b0 C. A conventional sensor also has windings on the rotor, which often limits their use for more demanding applications. High speeds or wet environments (oil bath) are usually the limiting criteria for reliable operation of a conventional resolver solution. With the Admotec standard angle encoder exactly these two criteria are not perfectly fulfilled. The patented rotor has no windings. This fact optimally solves the number of revolutions and material robustness and significantly increases the reliability.<\/p>\r\n
